Breaking News: Heart has Head-on Collision with Faith

Ben There Reporting

The well-respected Heart family prepared for transfer from our city of One Difficulty to More. Mrs. Heart took arm-loads of worries to the nearly full truck, climbed in the back, and placed them ever so carefully where she was certain they would be safe. Negative Emotion, who recently moved in to their neighborhood, snuck up from behind, slammed the back door, piled his five children in the cab, and sped away.

Faith Abounds In Thankful HeartsCollision

They hit a positive thought in the road, spun out of control and collided head-on with a FAITH ambulance on the Autism Highway.

Negative Emotion and his five children, Pride; Self-Pity; Alone; and twins, Afraid and Angry are all in critical condition.

Mrs. Heart’s carefully placed worries buried her.

The occupants of the FAITH ambulance, the Physician and His Assistant, experienced severe chest pain. However, they still ran to the aid of Mrs. Heart. They freed her from her worries and discovered she also had severe chest pain. Upon further examination, the Physician believed it was due to a badly blocked faith artery. The artery must be reconstructed. Miraculously, that is the Physician’s specialty.

Transported to New Covenant

The Physician and His Assistant transported Mrs. Heart to New Covenant Hospital in the city of Privileged. They rushed her into emergency surgery and reconstructed her faith artery with a cross-shaped reinforcement to anchor it firmly in place.

Thankfully, Mrs. Heart’s prognosis is excellent. However, her life will be forever altered. She and her family must move to Privileged where her cardiac condition will be closely monitored. She is no longer able to carry arm-loads of worries. Therefore, she will place them in Another’s hands and learn to rest.

Additionally, she will receive life-long therapy where she will lift the following verses (AmpC) to heaven daily:

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, Who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation! Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Psalm 57:1-2 Be merciful and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refuge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed. I will cry to God Most High, Who performs on my behalf and rewards me [Who brings to pass His purposes for me and surely completes them]

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Psalm 92:4 For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your works; at the deeds of Your hands I joyfully sing.

Just a couple days ago, I realized how stressed I was over my blog which, of course, means I had taken it into my own hands. So I rededicated it to Him in prayer and asked Him to help me put it in His hands and truly let go. This blog post was the result. All glory to Him!

P.S.> Today is the 2nd anniversary of Peter’s death. Janet will be spending the day with me and I have been praying for the Lord’s blessing on this day. When I woke this morning, got my coffee, and opened my computer, I found this article straight away. What a wonderful blessing. Thank you!
